TSS Youth Sailing, Inc., is a federal 501(c)(3) charity and a Florida non-profit organization. Our primary purpose is teaching kids and teens to sail, an activity that fosters responsibility, teamwork, and awareness.
Sailing adventures can change the course of a young person’s life. Sailors are a diverse community, respectful of each other and the natural environment. Sailing builds bonds across generations and geography and skills and friendships that can last a lifetime.
From the first day, young sailors, ages 7 to 17, are on the water in small boats, having fun and learning the ropes in a safe, organized program. They are rigging, launching, sailing and landing a small sailboat singlehandedly. Advanced students are sharpening their skills for enhanced performance. Our instructors are certified to teach by U.S. Sailing, the national authority. They are also certified for CPR, First Aid and boating safety. Class size is limited for safety and personal attention.
We offer free and discounted tuitions. Resales of donated boats and equipment, adult and family classes and monetary donations from generous sponsors allow us to offer this opportunity to kids, regardless of their financial means. E-mail us (at the Contact Us button) to apply.
